Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Spine and Pain in Festus, MO seeks a Nurse Navigator to lead care coordination for inpatients and outpatients. You’ll assess patient needs, guide care plans, mentor bedside staff, and ensure timely, safe, high-quality care aligned with Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities include pre-op education, daily rounds, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team to optimize LOS and resource use. 2–3 years RN experience, BLS, ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• 2-3 years’ nursing experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Provide pre-op education and daily hospital rounds.
• Ensure timely, safe, high-quality care aligned with Mercy standards.
• Mentor and support bedside nursing staff.
