The State of Colorado is seeking a Nurse Manager to provide leadership and direction for a large clinical unit serving incarcerated inmates, in outpatient or infirmary settings. You will oversee staff, payroll, scheduling, and compliance with standards of care and safety.

Required are a valid RN license and at least four years of professional nursing experience, with substitutions allowed via transcripts. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role at Denver

Qualifications

• RN license from Colorado or eNLC member state.
• Minimum four years of professional RN experience.
• Substitutions: education can replace up to two years of experience with transcripts.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing management and administration of a clinical unit 24/7.
• Lead, organize, review, and evaluate assigned staff performance and training.
• Handle hiring, corrective actions, payroll, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with DOC departments, facilities, and external agencies; ensure CQI and ACA standards are met.
