• Documents inmates' medical records handwritten or electronic in a timely and accurate manner.
• Delivers patient education on self-care techniques and potential treatment side effects.
• Provides patient care in clinic, infirmary, or specialized unit tailored to diagnoses and needs.
• Performs routine and emergency assessments of inmates during triage and emergencies using nursing skills.
• Maintains safety and security of the clinical environment through item control and monitoring.
• Manages payroll, scheduling, PMP, and oversees nursing staff, orientation, and shift coverage.
• Recommends and enforces policies; serves as on-call supervisor and arranges coverage/overtime.
