Job summary

Mercy Eureka is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead a nursing unit, ensure high quality patient care, and optimize staffing and resources. You will supervise staff, mentor team members, and collaborate with physicians and administration to uphold Mercy standards.

The CNM role requires BSN, RN licensure, and 4+ years in a clinical specialty, with management, teaching, and project-improvement skills. BS/MS and PALS/CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• RN licensure by State Board.
• BSN/BSN progression within 2 years; BS/MS preferred.
• Four years of clinical experience in a specialty.
• Principles of management, supervision, teaching, performance improvement, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality nursing care to a defined patient group.
• Maintain appropriate staffing and supervise unit staff.
• Collaborate with medical staff, administration, and other personnel.
• Monitor resource utilization and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide age- and culture-appropriate patient care; ensure safe pain management.
• Support safety and infection control policies; participate in nursing committees.
