Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a Nurse Extern to support patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, vitals, and documentation while developing foundational nursing skills in a hospital setting.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, active enrollment in an accredited nursing program with a 2.5 GPA, and completion of foundational coursework. Orientation and onboarding are required for successful placement.

Qualifications

• Proof of HS education.
• Active enrollment in an accredited nursing program; maintain GPA 2.5.
• In good standing within the nursing program.
• Completion of foundational nursing coursework prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) under RN supervision.
• Support mobility and transfers per RN direction.
• Record routine clinical measurements and relay abnormalities to the RN.
• Assist with nutrition, meals, and hydration per diet orders.
