Job summary

The Womans Hospital of Texas is seeking a Nurse Educator to advance professional nursing practice through evidence‑based educational programs for nursing and other clinical staff. You will help design onboarding, competency initiatives, and lifelong learning strategies aligned with HCA traditions.

You will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Professional Development to tailor programs based on evaluation results while supporting staff growth and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nursing preferred.
• 2+ years in clinical education or leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate onboarding and orientation for nursing staff.
• Provide onboarding to promote employee retention.
• Collaborate with Director of Clinical Professional Development to adjust programs.
• Develop and manage competency evaluation activities.
• Design educational activities to address practice gaps.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in QI.
• Identify opportunities for lifelong learning enhancement.
• Support novice-to-expert staff development.
