Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical specialty area.

• Successful preceptor and mentor experience.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet education needs.
• AORN Perioperative 101 course instructor preferred.
• Excellent computer skills (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical expertise across specialty areas.
• Provides education for clinical practice and staff development.
• Plans and evaluates orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs.
• Liaisons with Staff Education to develop policies and initiatives.
• Assists in staff assessments, competency determinations, and evaluations.
• Collaborates with leadership to create strategic education plans.
• Acts as resource for staff and management on educational programs.
