You will collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and executives to shape patient care while fostering collaboration and accountability.

The role oversees nursing practice, quality outcomes, workforce engagement, and evidence-based care, with on-site leadership, budgeting, on-call duties, and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required with knowledge of nursing practices, theories, management and research, basic statistics, and health‑care legislation.
• MSN preferred; Licensure as a Registered Nurse in MA or applicable state.
• Demonstrated success leading nursing operations and complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical, operational, and financial performance across surgical and procedural services.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and service line growth.
• Oversee departmental budgeting, workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and resource management.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives using data and evidence-based practice.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other standards.
• Champion innovation and change management to improve patient care and team engagement.
• Develop and mentor future nurse leaders and support shared governance.
