Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to advance clinical education across surgical and procedural services. The role leads orientation, in-service, and continuing education, and collaborates with care teams to enhance competency and patient care excellence.

The educator will support staff development, contribute to performance improvement, and help onboarding of new physicians within a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical specialty area.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and leadership in emergencies.
• Successful preceptor and mentor experience.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for education needs of surgical and procedural services.
• Preference for AORN Perioperative 101 course instruction.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates clinical expertise across specialty areas.
• Provides education and staff development support.
• Plans and evaluates orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs.
• Collaborates with leadership to develop educational plans and policies.
• Assists with onboarding of new physicians and staff.
