Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Clinical Educator to lead professional development, clinical practice, and credentialing for the Surgical ICU. This role mentors nurses, designs evidence-based learning, and guides Magnets and PTAP alignment across the organization.

You will drive onboarding, residency programs, and ongoing education while partnering with nurse leaders to advance practice and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master’s Degree (MSN or related field) preferred.
• 3–5 years of active nursing experience (Surgical ICU/ Critical Care highly preferred).
• 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience required.
• MA Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, present, and evaluate clinical competency modules and educational programs.
• Lead unit orientations and nurse residency programs.
• Collaborate with Magnet/PTAP leadership to manage reporting and communications.
• Lead monthly All-Day Council Meetings and chair committees.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice into nursing education and patient care policies.
• Provide real-time clinical education and on-floor mentoring.
