Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Educator to coordinate student placements and orient clinical instructors within Lahey Clinic’s nursing education programs.

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager and in collaboration with the Center for Clinical and Professional Development, the educator provides expert nursing education, supports clinical practice, and ensures regulatory and accreditation standards are met across clinical settings in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Current licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts or eligible for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ACLS instructor certification.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; 1–3 years in training/education.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates placement and orientation of nursing students and instructors.
• Provides clinical/educational resources to nursing staff and students.
• Supports professional development through formal and informal education programs.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager and leadership to align with the Center for Clinical and Professional Development.
