Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an onsite Nursing Professional Development Practitioner in Billings, MT. The role guides caregiver orientation, learning needs, and ongoing education using adult-learning principles and standardized tools.

Travel to multiple locations may be required. The ideal candidate holds a BSN with active RN license, BLS certification, and proven experience in staff development; a Master’s degree and NPD-BC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution; degree verification required.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated experience in adult or staff development.
• Demonstrated nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource, consultant, and mentor to caregivers and preceptors.
• Collaborate to understand goals, learning needs, and adoption of evidence-based practices.
• Coach and mentor to clinical coaches and caregivers for growth and learning.
• Foster interprofessional learning and advancement in nursing practices.
• Promote inquiry and the sharing of new knowledge to advance NPD practice.
• Champion NPD within the organization and ensure integration into practice.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth transitions and ongoing education.
