Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas invites applications for a Clinical Educator to lead competency development and staff education within the Texas Behavioral Health Center project.

This role requires RN licensure and documented BLS and CPI certifications, with at least five years in healthcare. You will design training programs, mentor clinicians, and advance evidence-based practice across the department.

Qualifications

• RN license required or pending
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire
• CPI certification required or within 30 days of hire
• Master's Degree preferred for education leadership

Responsibilities

• Facilitate initial and ongoing competency development for the assigned department.
• Assess, develop, and implement learning needs at unit/department level.
• Coach staff through clinical advancement processes and promote evidence-based practice.
• Identify educational needs of staff related to changes in service, equipment, or technique.
• Create and deliver adult learning activities in various styles.
• Support continuous performance improvement aligned with hospital targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
