Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station located in Cordova, IL. The program trains to supervise the licensed activities of reactor operators in the control room and directly supervise bargaining unit operators and equipment operators as needed.

During training, candidates attend classroom sessions and on-the-job training to obtain an NRC license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Engineering degree (4-year) or professional engineer license preferred.
• SRO instructor certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Obtain SRO license and supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room.
• Support outage activities and other duties as assigned by management.

Education
