Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) for Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. Trainees will undergo comprehensive training to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room.

Upon completion, candidates will be fully licensed by the NRC and may supervise bargaining unit operators and equipment operators, with involvement in outage support and emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A 4-year degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or a professional engineer license is required.
• More than 1.5 years as a qualified non-licensed operator or supervisor in work control, operations, or outages.

Responsibilities

• Attend initial license training (ILT) with classroom, on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed reactor operators.
• Support outages, emergency response, and department coverage as directed.

Education

High school diploma/GED

4-year engineering degree or equivalent

Professional engineer license

1.5+ years in a related supervisory/engineer role
