Job summary

Constellation Energy is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) for the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. Trainees will undergo comprehensive training to supervise licensed reactor operators in the NRC-approved control room.

Upon completion, candidates will be licensed by the NRC and prepared to supervise bargaining unit operators and support outage activities as part of a dynamic operations team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in engineering, engineering technology, or physical sciences, or professional engineer license.
• 1.5+ years in a reactor operator or supervisor role or related military reactor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed reactor operators.
• Support outage activities and emergency response as directed by management.

Education

High school diploma/GED

4-year engineering or physical sciences degree (or PE license)

SRO license experience or instructor certification
