Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp seeks Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Dresden Nuclear Station in Morris, Illinois. The program trains candidates through Initial License Training, preparing them to supervise reactor operators and gain NRC licensing.

The role includes classroom and on-the-job training, emergency response participation, and outage-support duties, with progression toward full supervision once licensing is achieved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility OR 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Perform other duties as directed, including emergency response, outage support, and coverage as needed.
