Job summary

Constellation is seeking to train and prepare individuals to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor with an SRO license at Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station in Cordova, IL. The program leads to NRC-licensure to supervise reactor operators in the control room.

Initial License Trainees will complete classroom and on-the-job training, then assume duties including emergency response and outage support. Relocation assistance may be offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility, or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• 1.5+ years as a supervisor or qualified non-licensed operator in a related role.
• A 4-year degree or professional engineer license with related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and department coverage as directed.
