Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) at LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, IL. The program trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to support bargaining unit operations.

Upon completion, you will be licensed by the NRC to supervise licensed activities and will be prepared to manage shift operations, outages, and related duties with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One of: Reactor Operator license; 1.5+ years in a similar role; engineering degree with relevant experience; SRO Instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training including classroom, on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities and provide department coverage as directed.
