Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions to closure. You’ll work with a team of auditors and specialists on projects audited against 10 CFR standards and NQA-1 requirements.

You’ll write audit reports and ensure independence from the work audited, maintaining qualification records and supporting NRC-style reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without extra guidance.

Responsabilités

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal and supplier audits end to end with a team of auditors.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records.
• Support owner, licensee, and external audits of our program.
