Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance system, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

Responsibilities include end-to-end auditing, evaluating suppliers, maintaining qualification records, and supporting NRC- or NUPIC-style reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audits against 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• Current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days; exam per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• Strong ability to write audit reports and present findings to responsible personnel.
• Experience auditing licensee, EPC, or supplier quality organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end-to-end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, findings, report, closure.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend approvals/removals.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support external audits.
