Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and verify corrective actions through closure with a qualified team.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualifications or ability to qualify within 90 days, with extensive experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Qualifications

• Qualified or qualifiable within 90 days as NQA-1 Lead Auditor; requires documented training in auditing and completion of a written exam per NQA-1 Part II Subpart 2.23.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands‑on auditing experience against 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklists, entrance/exit meetings, evidence collection, findings, report, and closure.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety‑related items and services; update the approved supplier list as needed.
