Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework built on ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will maintain qualification records, participate in NRC-style reviews, and deliver findings with objective evidence.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services strongly preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal audits of applicable NQA-1 requirements and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end-to-end: notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence collection, findings, exit meeting, and report; supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend additions/removals to approved supplier list; perform surveillances.
