Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA program per ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the reference for audits against a licensee's quality organization, maintaining independence, qualification records, and the ability to stop nonconformities. Travel to sites is required.

Formación

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience auditing to a licensee, EPC, or supplier quality organization preferred.
• Working knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors could follow without extra prompts.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program, including internal audits and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end to end: notification, checklist, meetings, evidence, findings, reports, closure of corrective actions.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage surveillance.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify effectiveness, and close with evidence.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support external program audits.
