Job summary

Construction Material Testing leads the nuclear QA program, planning annual audits and directing internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors. You will write audit reports, verify corrective actions, and ensure independence from the work audited.

Responsibilities include scheduling, on-site evidence collection, exit meetings, supplier evaluations, and performance reviews. NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or equivalent plus 5+ years in nuclear QA are required.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years of nuclear quality assurance experience, with audit work on 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• Experience auditing construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end with notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, evidence, findings and reports.
• Evaluate suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor qualification records and support program audits.
