Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal audits and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will maintain qualifications and support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits. Travel to project sites and labs is expected; 5+ years in nuclear QA required.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records.
• Support NRC-style audits of our own program.
