Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA program, aligned with ASME NQA-1. You plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will supervise an audit team, evaluate suppliers of safety-related items, and maintain qualification records. Travel to project sites and Sugar Land headquarters may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA is a plus.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspector could follow without a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end and supervise auditors.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support other audits.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify effectiveness.
