Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework. You will plan audits, lead teams, and ensure corrective actions are closed with objective evidence, reporting to stakeholders on findings.

The role requires a current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or readiness within 90 days, 5+ years in nuclear QA, and experience with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21. Travel to project sites and supplier facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear QA with audit experience.
• Experience auditing 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Preferred knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead end-to-end audits: notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, evidence, findings, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records.
• Support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits of our program.
