Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program. You will plan schedules, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, and verify corrective actions to closure. You will ensure independence and maintain qualification records for auditors and lead auditors.

The role requires working knowledge of ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50/21, and experience in audit reporting. Travel to project sites and client facilities is expected as part of program reviews.

Qualifikationen

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or be qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Knowledge of construction materials testing or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA is a plus.
• Writes audit reports NRC inspectors can follow without a conversation.
• Comfortable presenting findings to those who caused them.

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead end-to-end internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend changes to the approved supplier list; perform surveillances.
• Classify findings, issue corrective-action requests, verify actions to closure.
• Maintain qualification records for lead auditors and auditors.
