Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

Qualified candidates have NQA-1 Lead Auditor status or readiness within 90 days, 5+ years in nuclear QA, and experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21. Travel is required as part of program reviews and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualification or eligible within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end with team of auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Recommend approved-supplier-list changes; perform surveillances.
• Classify findings and issue corrective-action requests; verify closure.
