Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program under ASME NQA-1. Plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure. Travel to project sites and supplier facilities as required.

Maintain independence from audited work and keep qualification records updated. Qualifications include NQA-1 Lead Auditor status (or within 90 days), 5+ years in nuclear QA, and auditing to 10 CFR

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1
• Experience with audits for licensees, EPCs, or supplier QA organizations
• Knowledge of construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end — notification, checklist, entrance meeting, objective evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
