Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a seasoned Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1.

You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write audits, verify corrective actions, and ensure independence and evidence-based conclusions for NRC-ready reports. Travel involved; Sugar Land HQ and regional project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with audits to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Hands-on experience auditing to applicable standards is required; a licensee, EPC, or supplier quality organization background preferred.
• ASQ CQA certification is a plus.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without additional dialogue.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits end to end—notification, checklists, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support owner, licensee, and NUPIC-style audits.
