Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write objective reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will interact with licensee quality organizations, maintain qualification records, and ensure independence from the work audited. Expect scheduled travel to project sites and supplier facilities, with Texas Sugar Land as HQ for

Qualifications

• Must hold current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor or be qualifiable within 90 days.
• Documentation of auditing training and participation in audits is required.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and lead internal and supplier audits.
• Lead audits end-to-end, supervise auditors and specialists, document findings and reports.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions to closure.
