Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a qualified Lead Auditor to own the nuclear QA audit program in accordance with ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits, and write audit reports with corrective actions verified to closure.

On projects you are the reference for the licensee's quality organization; your records, independence, and qualification file underpin the role. Travel to sites and Sugar Land HQ are expected.

Qualifications

• Auditing skills including planning, conducting, and closing audits.
• Ability to write clear audit reports and track corrective actions.
• Knowledge of NQA-1 requirements and nuclear QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, checklist, entrance meeting, evidence, findings, exit meeting, report.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; recommend approvals or removals.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records; support audits of our program.
