Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead technical execution on High Hazard / High Consequence projects. You will oversee engineering activities across multiple disciplines, coordinating with PMs, discipline engineers, and customers to ensure scope, cost, and schedule adherence throughout the EPCm lifecycle.

You will apply leadership and technical skills across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and other scopes, with travel up to 25%. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years total engineering experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional Engineer license(s) in good standing, with ability to obtain licensure in various states.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the design of a technically sound, safe facility meeting safety, scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Implements the project’s technical work plan per the SOW and requirements.
• Leads multi-discipline technical coordination meetings, including interfaces with the customer.
• Manages change orders, including technical change control and training team members.
• Coordinates inter-discipline and client design reviews and ensures timely responses.
• Prepares and submits engineering execution plans and status reports.
• Ensures documentation reflects engineering performance and conformance to design.
