Job summary

Amentum Nuclear Projects in Idaho seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the Spent Fuel Handling Project near the Naval Reactors Facility at Idaho National Laboratory, coordinating planning, commissioning, and execution of large EPCM initiatives with engineering, procurement, and field teams.

Candidates must have 20+ years of construction PM experience, strong CPM scheduling, budgeting, risk management, contract administration, and proven subcontractor oversight; U.S.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• +20 years of construction project management experience, including EPCM or large projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and complex project contracts.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and schedule management.
• Contract administration and subcontractor oversight.
• Change management and scope control.
• Risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of construction safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• USA citizenship is required for security clearance. (No dual citizenship)
• Sole USA citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPCM project delivery from initiation through closeout.
• Manage scope, budget, schedule, quality, and overall performance.
• Oversee multiple subcontractors and field teams.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations stakeholders.
• Develop forecasts, risk assessments, and executive status reports.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor project team and promote accountability.
