The Project Engineer II must possess a high aptitude for coordinating multi-disciplinary technical teams (Supervising Discipline Engineers), through the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPCm) project lifecycle. On a typical day, the Project Engineer II will lead either one or more Supervising Discipline Engineers assigned to the project. Primarily inward facing to support the needs of Engineering, the Project Engineer II will communicate technical objectives to the Project Engineering / Project Manager. As the project’s technical lead, the Project Engineer II will establish a reporting structure on their project(s) that will promote open communications to ensure timely identification of challenges or issues that may pose risk to the project, the organization, and/or Amentum as a whole. The Project Engineer II must demonstrate exceptional control of scope, cost and schedule, while possessing strong technical knowledge across a diverse suite of engineering disciplines.
