Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a leader to join our Nuclear Services Group supporting nuclear pipe stress analysis and design across the industry. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines while building strong client relationships.

As the unit lead, you will direct work, approve engineering documents, and drive technical excellence in ASME B31.1 and B&PV Section III compliance, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 6 years in piping design, layout and analysis in power generation, nuclear power or heavy industrial with preference for 2 years in a lead role.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Advanced knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes.
• Knowledge of AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, and/or other related pipe stress software.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and technical team needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pipe stress analysis unit and mentor engineers to meet project deadlines.
• Approve designs and ensure compliance with ASME B31.1 and B&PV Section III.
• Manage project budgets and coordinate with Project Managers and clients.
• Support recruitment, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Coordinate with PMs to meet schedule and quality standards.
