Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a senior leader to guide the nuclear pipe stress analysis team. You will mentor engineers, approve designs, and strengthen client relationships while ensuring quality and adherence to ASME B31.1 and B&PV Code. This role emphasizes project leadership and delivery across NSG projects.

You will direct work, manage budgets and schedules with PMs, and drive staff development. Travel up to 10% and unescorted nuclear plant access are requirements for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• 6+ years piping design, layout, and analysis in power generation, nuclear, or heavy industry.
• Lead experience preferred (2+ years).
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and obtain unescorted access to a nuclear plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers, approve designs, and build client relationships.
• Direct unit work, assign tasks, approve timesheets, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Maintain unit quality, certify documents per code requirements, and provide technical leadership.
• Work with PMs to meet budgets and schedules; lead proposals and scope discussions.
• Support staff development and recruitment activities.
