Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a leader to drive a nuclear pipe stress analysis and design team across the industry. You will lead, mentor engineers, approve designs, and build strong client relationships while delivering quality results.

The role requires extensive piping design experience, ASME code knowledge, and a proven leadership track record. Remote options may apply; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 6 years in piping design, layout and analysis; nuclear/power/industrial preferred; 2 years in lead role.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B&PV Section III piping codes.
• Knowledge of AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, or related pipe stress software.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Travel up to 10% of time; variable by project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the pipe stress analysis unit and balance priorities.
• Approve engineering designs and unit outputs; manage budgets and schedules.
• Develop client relationships and market the unit’s capabilities.
• Provide performance coaching and staff development.
• Support administrative needs and staffing planning.
