Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a leader to guide our nuclear pipe stress analysis team, shaping project direction and mentoring engineers. The role emphasizes staff development, quality oversight, and client relationship-building to deliver safe, compliant piping solutions across the NSG.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, approve technical designs, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to business growth by marketing the unit's capabilities to clients while ensuring professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• Advanced knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes.
• Knowledge of AutoPIPE, PIPESTRESS, and/or other pipe stress software.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary by project.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the pipe stress analysis unit to meet budget and schedule.
• Approve designs and project documents produced by the unit.
• Mentor engineers and build client relationships.
• Recruiting support and unit staffing.
• Support quality control and ensure safety and compliance.
