Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role in a fast-paced imaging department. The technologist performs a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate imaging, patient safety and quality studies.

The position offers access to Wellstar's CareerCare program for fully funded education and guided career progression. Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification required or equivalent upon hire.
• BLS certification required or instructor eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Verify clinician orders and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following infection control and safety policies.
• Restock and organize department supplies; assist team as needed.
• Document procedures and ensure accurate patient identification and data entry.
