Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and perform a broad range of imaging procedures in the Nuclear Medicine department.

The role requires an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology or equivalent certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and BLS certification. The team emphasizes quality, safety, and patient dignity in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best possible image quality.
• Maintain and disinfect NM equipment in line with infection control policies.
• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history; pre-procedure verification.
• Assist radiologists and other technologists as needed during procedures.
• Restock supplies and keep the NM department clean and organized.
• Take call duties as assigned by the department.
