Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in a PRN capacity. You will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.

You will be responsible for obtaining orders, verifying patient information, and delivering high-quality imaging studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience; Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification; BLS required or Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality and patient safety.
• Operate NM equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Verify orders, review patient history, and ensure proper patient identification.
• Assist with maintaining equipment and infection control per policy.
• Restock supplies and support radiology staff as needed.
• Take call as required by department.
