Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate care and perform department exams per protocol. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT and BLS; 1 year of clinical experience is preferred. This PRN position offers access to Wellstar's CareerCare program and up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• AS radiologic technology accredited and ARRT certified or CNMT preferred.
• Minimum 1 year clinical patient care experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures with proper safety and quality standards.
• Prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure accurate imaging data.
• Operate imaging equipment and evaluate image quality for radiologist review.
• Maintain infection control, hygiene, and patient privacy throughout exams.
• Assist with inventory, restock supplies, and support department workflow.
