Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to provide safe, patient-centered imaging services. You will set up and operate imaging equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies are performed per department procedures.

The role requires completion of an Associate's in Radiologic Technology with at least 1 year of clinical experience. ARRT Nuclear Tech certification and BLS are required at hire. PRN schedule and shift differential incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology education required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or Instructor.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Provide patient care safely and verify patient identity and contraindications.
• Complete documentation and ensure proper preprocedural verification and Time Out process.
