Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar provides safe, age-appropriate care by performing department exams and imaging. You will set up equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies while following policy and safety standards.

Requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech, 1 year of clinical experience, and BLS. You will work PRN with potential up to 40 hours per week, and you may access Wellstar's CareerCare for funded education and career

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech required.
• BLS certification required or instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and position patients to obtain quality imaging.
• Review studies and ensure accuracy of patient identity and safety procedures.
• Maintain infection control and equipment readiness; assist radiologists as needed.
• Restock supplies and support departmental operations; participate in call coverage.
