Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services and quality diagnostic studies. You will set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, infection control, and collaboration with team members to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• 1 year clinical patient care experience required; 1 year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and position patients for procedures.
• Verify orders, patient ID, and proper radiopharmaceutical administration.
• Maintain infection control, equipment readiness, and patient safety.
• Assist with other modalities when needed.
• Document procedures and maintain timely study completion.
