Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures and provide safe, age-appropriate patient care. The role requires setting up imaging equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality studies for radiologist review.

Responsibilities include patient verification, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with the department to maintain workflow and achieve accurate diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required or obtained on hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and position patient for procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification and accurate imaging per protocol.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleanliness.
• Review images and assist radiologist with interpretations.
• Assist with emergency responses and supply restocking.
