Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals in Frisco, TX is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, including PET/NM imaging. The role requires independent judgment, careful handling of radiopharmaceuticals, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

This is a full-time, day-shift position Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited school of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• MTR State of Texas.
• ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.
• ACLS provider required within 6 months of hire or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Performs at a technical level requiring independent judgment to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients; utilizes various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment; administers radiopharmaceuticals per scope.
• Demonstrates adherence to radiation safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
